Argentina citizenship by investment cost: family examples

Argentina citizenship by investment cost starts with an announced US$350,000 non-refundable Treasury contribution for the main applicant. A separate US$800,000 government bond was also announced. These figures are not an all-in fee quote.

Family composition changes the contribution amount. The calculator below uses announced categories and displays costs excluded from the estimate.

Announced contribution versus bond routes. Bond holding period, redemption mechanics, fees and the public application channel remain unresolved or unverified.

Household contribution estimate

Shows announced amounts only. This is not a legal eligibility verdict and is not an all-in fee quote. Fees are not established in this estimate.

Announced contribution estimate: US$350,000

Excluded: government processing charges, due diligence, professional fees, translations, certifications and banking costs. An unknown cost is not zero.

Example: choosing between expense and committed capital

Hypothetical scenario: a married couple with children aged 9 and 14 compares the routes. Their contribution illustration is US$500,000. A bond illustration would involve US$800,000 in bond principal plus US$150,000 in family contributions, or US$950,000 initially committed. The latter is a calculation from announced amounts, not a verified final family bond package.

That higher number cannot be treated as "cheaper after repayment." The final term sheet must establish maturity, interest, redemption, transferability and other conditions. Even a repayable instrument can involve credit risk and unavailable capital. A specific holding period for the program bond has not been verified against the primary announcement.

What the estimate excludes

Government processing charges, due diligence, professional fees, translations, certifications and banking costs need a separate written budget. An unknown cost is not zero. Ask which charges are paid when, which are refundable and who receives them.

Check family category details before counting dependants, and review funding documentation before assuming liquid assets can be used without further checks.
